Historic Downtown Eureka Springs
Downtown Eureka Springs is a preserved historic district with Victorian architecture, cobblestone streets, shops, restaurants, and galleries. The area is walkable and features free trolley service, frequent festivals, and public art. Visitors can explore independently or join guided tours to learn more about local history and architecture.
Lake Leatherwood City Park
Lake Leatherwood spans 1,610 acres and includes an 85-acre spring-fed lake. Activities include hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, fishing, and birdwatching. The park has a boat dock, cabin rentals, and picnic areas, along with over 25 miles of trails. It's managed by the City of Eureka Springs and open year-round for day use and overnight stays
Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge
Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge is a nonprofit sanctuary for rescued exotic animals, including tigers, lions, leopards, bears, and more. The 459-acre facility offers walking tours, educational programs, and animal observation areas. Guests can learn about wildlife conservation and the stories behind each animal’s rescue.
Blue Spring Heritage Center
Blue Spring Heritage Center features 33 acres of gardens, native plants, and historical exhibits. The spring produces 38 million gallons of water daily, forming a lagoon that feeds into the White River. Guests can walk shaded trails, view archaeological sites, and learn about Native American history. The center operates seasonally and includes a gift shop and rest areas.
Christ of the Ozarks
Christ of the Ozarks is a 67-foot-tall statue situated on Magnetic Mountain. Built in 1966, it is part of The Great Passion Play grounds and visible from various points around Eureka Springs. The site includes open grounds for walking and photo opportunities. There is no admission fee to view the statue, and parking is available nearby.
Onyx Cave Park
Onyx Cave Park offers a self-guided audio tour through a small, accessible cave featuring stalactites and other formations. Open since 1893, it is one of Arkansas’s oldest show caves. The experience is suitable for most visitors, including children. The cave stays at a constant cool temperature, and tours last approximately 30 minutes. Gift shop and axe throwing available on site.

The restaurant does not take reservations and provides a waiting area upstairs. Open for dinner only. Known for consistent quality and a relaxed atmosphere.
Local Flavor Cafe
Local Flavor Cafe serves American cuisine with global influences, offering lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. Located near downtown, it features indoor seating and a covered deck with city views. Menu items include salads, seafood, vegetarian dishes, and house-made desserts. Wine and cocktails available. Reservations are recommended during peak times.
Bubba’s Barbecue
Bubba’s Barbecue is a casual eatery known for slow-smoked meats, including brisket, ribs, and pulled pork. Classic sides such as coleslaw and baked beans accompany the meals. The restaurant offers indoor seating and a drive-thru option. It's open for lunch and dinner and is popular for quick service and large portions.
Le Stick Nouveau
Le Stick Nouveau is a fine-dining restaurant located in the historic New Orleans Hotel basement. It offers French-inspired cuisine with a rotating prix fixe menu, as well as à la carte options. The atmosphere is upscale and intimate, with limited seating. Reservations are strongly encouraged. Wine pairings and specialty cocktails are available.
Mud Street Cafe
Mud Street Cafe is a breakfast and lunch spot located in a historic underground building in downtown Eureka Springs. Known for its coffee, quiche, baked goods, and hearty breakfast plates, it also offers vegetarian and gluten-free options. The space features exposed stone walls and local art. Open seasonally.
Gaskins Cabin Steakhouse
Gaskins Cabin Steakhouse operates in an 1860s log cabin and serves hand-cut steaks, seafood, and chicken dishes. The restaurant emphasizes classic preparations and house-made desserts. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. Located a short drive north of Eureka Springs, the setting is quiet and rustic.
